Meet The Team: “General” Liam Webb – Site Owner/Chief Data Analyst

Okay, the “General” title might be slightly misleading.

I’m not leading troops into battle (unless it’s an army of algos!), but it does have a nice ring to it, and I do command a legion of minions (algorithms) to help me analyze market data.

But who am I?
When did I start trading?
What is my current trading style?

Call me, Liam – or “Webby” as my friends call me.

I started dabbling in forex about 12 years ago, thinking it’d be a quick way to pad my summer savings (Boy, was I wrong!)

Since then, I’ve created…

2 Extensive Trading Courses

… and made (and lost!) insane money along the way.

Fast forward, and today forex has morphed into a full-blown obsession alongside my other businesses.

Outside of work, when I’m not analyzing market data or back-testing new strategies, I like painting miniature cars and planes (Airfix models), spending time with family – no wife yet, thank god! – and watching F1 and motobike (MotoGP) races!

I also enjoy walking my lovely little lab (Blade) in the woods near my home.

Favorite all-time quote?

Simplicity, much like the elegance of a profitable trading strategy, and the occasional indulgence in ice cream – is a well-deserved treat after a long day on the charts.
